Do the questionnaire!

Hi all, this is a minimal little blog I started just to have a place to post the link to my questionnaire.

Responses to Emotion Questionnaire

More information:

If you like answering questions about your emotions, you've come to the right place. I'm a first-year clinical psychology student at the University of Wisconsin, and I'm in a class called Assessment, which would more accurately be called something like "Scale Development" or "Psychometrics" (psychometrics is the topic of measurement tools in psychology). Anyway, I have to develop a new scale for my final project, and part of developing a scale is testing out a lot of potential questions. This is not an experiment, and I'm not trying to get information about you; I'm trying to get information about the characteristics of my questions and how they relate to each other. The demographic information I ask for at the beginning is just so I can describe the kinds of people who took it.

I wish I could claim that it is extremely short, but it is not. I have to test a lot of questions, and I also include some other established questionnaires so I can see how my questions relate to them. If you feel like you don't have time for the whole thing, the most important part for me is questions 1-76. Those are questions I wrote. It would be great if you could do the whole thing, but investigating the relationship between my questions and the published scales is optional for me. Some of the questions might seem repetitive, but they all have important differences. I appreciate your patience and effort in answering them!

If you have any feedback, or want to know more about my class or what I'm trying to accomplish with my questions, you can email me at surrence at wisc dot edu. Please feel free to forward this link to anyone you think might do the questionnaire! The only requirement is that anyone who takes it must be a very competent speaker of English.
